Things to Understand

Points to understand

Here I  take some points to understand and realise them....
All the things are not only to listen but some things are to really understand....

" First, remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Second, never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it. Third, if you are lucky enough to find love, remember it is there and don't throw it away."

- STEPHEN HAWKING, theoretical physicist
Said on the advice he gave his children

" Have you studied the limits of human attention? Overestimate over ability to do two things at once, and I would advise you to learn about that before you answer that phone in the street."

- STEVE CASNER, safety expert
Said in Psychology Today

" Gardening, like life, requires courage. We must be brave enough to cut back the old and sit with bare branches, awaiting new growth. And we must trust that it will come."

- CHERYL RICHARDSON, author
Said in her book Walking Up In Winter

" Perfection comes out of moulds or assembly lines.... And the great irony is that we value things made by hand more than we do things that comes from machines."

- SIMON SINEK, author
Said in the book Permission to Screw Up

"What money does in magnify you.... Money gives you a chance if you are a slob to be a big slob - a huge slob. On the other hand if you are inclined towards doing good things, it gives you the power to do a great... many great things."

- WARREN BUFFETT, investor
Said in Georgia Tech Alumni Magazine

" In the future, I would like to be more of an advocate for animal conservation. Every single part of the earth reacts with every other part. It's one thing. Every little animal is important in that ecosystem. Seeing in the planet from above makes you realise that and makes you want to be a little more proactive in keeping it that way. If I could get every Earthling Churu one circle of the earth, I think  things would run a little differently."

- KAREN NYBERG, NASA astronaut
Said to National geographic

" The Olympic movement in all about the ideals, it's about being a global community, competing against each other and improving each others limits, but doing it with respect. That, to me, is the most important thing and when you commit yourself fully to a cause like that, you have to fight the good fight. That's the bigger message of the Olympic games, there's more that unites us than divides us. When you complete like that under the great order, we all improve as a collective."

- SHIVA KESHAVAN, Olympian and India's only luger

" Here's how clueless Hollywood is about women: We made a movie called What Women Want, and it starred Mel Gibson."

- JIMMY KIMMEL, comedian
Said at the 90th Academy Awards

" Society needs to change its way of thinking. What someone thinks could be a weakness in a person could be their strength. Who are we do decide or be judgemental or discriminate? How can a teacher in a school differentiate between a bright student and a not so bright student? Every child has the right to blossom and right to equal opportunity in education.

 -RANI MUKERJI, actor
Said in an interview

" Men tend to be given the benefit of the doubt. Women usually have to tu to prove ourselves time and time again. We have to shoot five - $1 million movie and five - $2 million movies before we get $10 million movie. There's this need to reassert that : yes I can do this, yes I have the technical skills, yes I am confident enough, yes I can run a crew. Guys can stumble into the room and be handed the keys to the castle. Until that perception is changed, until we all perceived to be as inherently competent as one other, that will always show the progress down."

- RACHEL MORRISON, first woman to be nominated for an Oscar
Said n cinematography in 'Time'

" Wisdom lies in thinking. The spearhead of thinking is rationalism."

- PERIYAR E. V. RAMASAMY, social activist and politician

"What's your thinking!?
